  • At St Columba’s Safeguarding pupils is of the highest priority. We have an excellent record in this role which has been affirmed by ETI.

    On the basis of the evidence available at the time of the inspection the school has comprehensive arrangements in place for safeguarding children. These arrangements reflect the guidance issued by the Department of Education. In discussions with the inspectors, the children in years 5, 6 and 7 reported that they feel safe and secure in school and know what to do if they have any concerns about their well-being.
