We celebrated the most beautiful Christingle mass, in St. Columba’s chapel. It was a mass which echoed and symbolised the real meaning Christmas. It was just beautiful!
Thank you to Fr. Madden for celebrating our Christingle mass. Thanks to Brigid for opening the chapel for rehearsals and putting on the lights and heat. Thank you to Sean Scullion and Mrs Bradley for leading our fantastic choir, who sang so beautifully. To our very talented violinists and traditional group, thank you. Our readers read brilliantly and our singers were superb.
Thank you to our parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and other family members who didn’t let the weather put them off. It was great to see the chapel so full.
To our staff, who worked so hard behind the scenes to make tonight such a success. A special thanks to our classroom assistants who prepared our Christingle oranges.
Finally, to all our children, you were amazing! Primary one, you all looked fantastic in your nativity costumes! Well done, boys and girls.
