P1 & P2 Play Based Learning Toys Topic
The boys and girls had so much fun today. Play-based learning in Primary One and Primary Two supports children’s development by allowing them to learn through meaningful, hands on experiences that are engaging and enjoyable. Through play, children build strong foundations in early literacy and numeracy while also developing important skills such as problem-solving, communication, creativity and cooperation. Play encourages curiosity and motivation, helping children to explore new ideas at their own pace and in ways that suit their individual needs. It also supports social and emotional development, as children learn to share, take turns, manage feelings and build positive relationships. By learning through play, young learners gain confidence, independence and a love of learning that supports their success both in school and beyond.
