Pumpkin Hunt Fun in Primary 2.

Primary 2 loved their Halloween story “We’re Going on a Pumpkin Hunt” by Goldie Hawk! The children enjoyed listening to and joining in with the repeated patterns and rhythm in the story. Building their early reading and literacy skills through rhyme, prediction, and sequencing. 
They had lots of fun during play based learning acting out the story, using expression and movement to bring it to life, before heading outdoors for a real pumpkin hunt around our school grounds!  The excitement continued with plenty of treats and smiles all round. 
A wonderful mix of literacy, drama, and outdoor learning! Happy Halloween!
