The children had to predict what would happen when the coloured water went into the shaving cream.
The shaving cream represents the clouds and the water in the jar represents the air. The coloured water represents the rain. As the coloured water saturates the cloud, it gets heavy and eventually is so heavy that it can no longer hold the water. It rains down into the jar.
The children were amazed! Just like the rain in the jungle!
