Sperrin Partnership Schools Attend Training on How the Brain Learns
The Sperrin Partnership of schools recently came together for an inspiring professional development conference led by
Mr. Bradley Busch, a renowned psychologist and expert in educational psychology. The session focused on deepening our understanding of how the brain learns and the practical implications this has for teaching and learning in the classroom.
Mr. Busch shared research-based strategies to help teachers support memory, attention, and motivation in pupils.
This collaborative event was attended by staff from: Knockloughrim PS, Knocknagin PS, St Mary’s PS, Straw PS, Bellaghy PS, St Eoghan’s PS, Moneymore PS, Churchtown PS, Maghera PS, and Gaelscoil Na Sperini.
The training provided practical tools and insights that will help us continue to improve teaching and learning across all our schools. We look forward to embedding these strategies in our classrooms and sharing best practice across the partnership.
